KĒI (MGSTRZ Kpop Singer) Reflects Patriotism

KĒI, MGSTRZ Kpop singer, is currently serving his military duty in South Korea. In the Instagram photo, he is wearing a dark green shirt with a white T-shirt underneath his outfit with black framed-shades. As mentioned in BBC article, “Military service is mandatory for all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 in South Korea ¹.” Although, KĒI grew up in the United States; however, KĒI’s decision to serve his country is commendable and reflects his patriotism.

Military service is a crucial aspect of South Korean culture and is viewed as a rite of passage for young men. According to NBC news, “It is a time when they learn discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors ²“. KĒI’s choice to serve his country will undoubtedly help him grow as an individual and as an artist.

KĒI’s fans will assuredly miss him during his military service, but they can take solace in the fact that he is serving his country with honor and distinction. We wish him the best of luck throughout the time of his military service and we look forward to his return to the music scene.
